FO: Saroyan Cowl

Pattern/ návod: Saroyan by Liz Abinante
Yarn/ příze: Malabrigo Merino Worsted in Burgundy

Originally it started as a scarf, but I ran out of yarn. Thus I cast off and sewed the ends diagonally together to make a cowl, which I find more practical and fashionable. (I usually struggle with the shawl ends to tie them together in a neat way ending with a bulk somewhere around my neck.)

It can be worn in many ways: with a fold laying on back, the leaves running diagonally from one shoulder to a waist; draped as a regular cowl around neck falling to bust; with a fold in front showing a reverse stockinette side which I especially love in variegated yarns.
